Book Synopsis: The purpose of this study if to make clear the work of the Holy Spirit in the Christian life, showing what the Bible says about a valid experience with the Holy Spirit. Though the title of the booklet is �The Work of the Holy Spirit in the Christian Life,� I should make clear what works of the Spirit occur at the moment of the new birth and what works follow the new birth. Four works of the Spirit occur the moment we are born again. They are his regenerating, baptizing, indwelling and sealing works. Two works are rightly regarded as part of the Christian life that follows the new birth. They are his filling and renewing works. No end of confusion has risen out of failure to adequately define what the works of the spirit are and when they occur.
