Book Synopsis:
The poet-translator was born a Jew. Neither he nor his family were religious. The trauma of the Holocaust which made its make in his life did not turn his attention. He was on a quest, and exploring poetry. His moving toward Christ was not so much a formal transition as it was a coming to faith for the first time. He had never been drawn to temple as meaningful to faith. He was not encumbered by years of teaching about Biblical precepts and their exact working out in principles. He was free to find God anew.
