The law of God given in the Old Testament contrary to popular opinion is an expression of God's Love. By it we recognize our sin, our need for a savior, and the path of service to God and others. The pinnacle of the law is the Ten Commandments, which addresses our relationship with God first. The God who made us, loves us, and saves us is worthy of our exclusive worhip, honor and obedience. In our attempts to keep the Ten Commandments we quickly see how far we fall, especially given Jesus' focus on th and the requirement for perfect obedience. Jesus Himself accomplished this perfect obedience on our behalf and now sends His people out on mission to obey from the heart and show His love to the world.
