Book Synopsis: In July of 1993 when i began my column, "Doers of the Word" in our local newspaper, the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal, I had no idea that it would continue three years later after visiting 80 churches and featuring over 160 individuals who have made lasting contributions to their houses of worship. I felt the need to compile the beautiful, uplifting stories of Christian men and women working together for God's Kingdom into this, first of several books.
