Book Synopsis: This collection of anthems for the Church Year is addressed to choirs and choir directors in Baptist, Congregational, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian and other evangelical Protestant communions. The selections were drawn from many sources and represent the finest in liturgical literature. Most of the texts are scriptural, some were taken from Protestant ritual, a few are the editor's. The anthems vary in difficulty but there is not one in the collection that cannot be mastered by a dedicated, hard working volunteer choir.
